Hello and welcome to another edition of "Interesting, vaguely interesting, and weird cars for sale I found today", or in short IVIAWCFSIFT (doesn't that just roll off the tongue?).
This time I'll be featuring cars that cost less than $10 000 (or 32 000 z) to buy. My search has been prompted by a person who I heard bitching that he can't find a cool car for this sort of money. Let's prove him wrong, shall we?
As always I will only post cars that are currently in Poland, but not necessarily on Polish plates.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Probably not the greatest daily driver, but what the hell. At least it's interesting.
A car based on Mercedes W124, made in Korea to look a bit like the W220 Benz. Isn't that everyone's dream?
2000 Mercedes-Benz W210 E430 4Matic Estate
On a slightly more serious note, this sort of car always appealed to me. You get an elegant and discreet body with a lot of go under your right foot. Few people expect this sort of thing to be packing 280 hp.
It's one of those cars that I personally would not mind owning. 166s always had really excellent interiors. They tend to be the least problematic Alfas from that period too, although if something breaks repair bills are absolutely crushing.
A real Alfa for someone who's really brave. Still, an interesting car for way under budget.
2006 Alfa Romeo 159 Q4 Estate 3.2 V6
One of the last V6 Alfas and a real beauty. I'd say one of the best looking estates of all time. Obviously, you can easily get a sallon version within budget too.
Another Alfa for the brave.
There's a lot of them for sale, including saloons. Some are ridiculously cheap too (although they will most likely prove to be utter money pits).
Hmm. Perhaps not the most practical choice. Needs some work too.
I've always liked this thing. No idea why. Maybe it's because it can make an attractive girl drop dead gorgeous. There's just something about it.
Because it's small, Italian and without a roof.
Same reasons apply.
Because you're rich and want your kid to have a lot of fun. 110ccm engine with a manual gearbox included.
2008 Ford Mondeo 2.5 Ghia Estate
Big boot. Discreet body. Gets you everywhere quickly. As an added bonus you look like an undercover police car so everybody gets out of your way.
Practical, reasonably quick, nice souding engine. And you still look like the fuzz.
Perfect for people who want a big and impressive car that is likely to never work right.
For the biggest fans of the colour brown. Also, it has a Maserati badge.
Those things are flippin' great value. They always seem to be low mileage and really cheap for what they are.
I don't like receiving death threats so I'm including an MX-5.
If you don't like Nivas you probably don't have a heart.
Because you're a fan of the colour brown and want a car that you will pass on to your great grandkids. And then they will be able to do the same.
Buying a Porsche like this one is the quickest way of losing all your money known to mankind. Still, at least you end up with a Porsche.
Hmmm. Because you like the styling? Nope. Because it's quick and well equipped? Nah. Because you want to bring back the Polish 90's? Hell no. Well, at least it's in factory condition.
Because you want a fast car that's not really that fast, looks like a cheap car and is always broken anyway?
Guaranteed impossible to guess in the game of "Guess what car I just bought". Worth the money just for that single reason.
It's sold locally and I need to promote my region. Sue me.
A car for those who can love unconditionally.
Aaaaaaanyway. I'm tired now. I think I successfully established that there is no shortage of cars you can buy for less than 10 grand. Feel free to discuss my findings and add your own.
